A Williamstown local, Jessie is a recent graduate from Victoria University, finishing her Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) in 2020. She may be a familiar face to some, having spent the last 6 years on the front desk at Hobsons Bay Osteopathy!
Jessie has been a social and regional representative netballer for 12 years, and it was through a nasty in-game injury that she discovered osteopathy and how it can get you back to being your best. She also has a keen interest in pilates, and appreciates how this practice can help gain a better understanding of movement and function. After completing her internship at HBO, she was inspired by the holistic and integrated nature that osteopaths view the body, and how this is used to treat a variety of conditions.
Through her studies, she has had a broad range of clinical experiences, such as treating in indigenous communities, management of chronic pain patients, and undertaking placement in Goa, India.
Jessie is a keen learner and is excited to continue to grow as an osteopath. She is currently undertaking further studies in dry needling and pilates to further expand her toolbox to help patients to get back to achieving their goals and returning to what they love!
In the time she has free, Jessie is an avid foodie, searching for the tastiest restaurants in Melbourne. With a love for the water and reading, she loves to scout a swim at the local pool or throw herself into the deep end of any novel. And her athletic prowess does not just stop at one. Jessie is an Essendon tragic, eager to make a return to the crowd once footy
